About Us
What?
The Piper Project Graduation Class of 2027 Committee was formed to be proactive and forward-thinking in our fundraising efforts for Project Graduation. Project Graduation is a program offered to many high school seniors across the United States, in which organized, adult-supervised and alcohol-free activities are offered as part of a post-graduation party.
When?
Graduation Night
Details:
Raise between $25,000 - $30,000 for: event space, games, activities, prizes, food, and non-alcoholic beverages and the not so fun stuff like insurance and security. Many graduating classes only raise funds their graduate’s senior year and they have to do several fundraisers such as selling bed sheets, mums, and other items to friends and family while also facing the additional costs associated with senior year including: senior and yearbook pictures, homecoming, prom, college applications, cap and gown, and graduation parties, just to name a few. Our goal is that this proactive approach will allow everyone to enjoy our seniors’ final year of high school AND provide a great PG Night!
How?
Families elected committee of 5 parents of 2027 graduates. The committee is collecting and tracking funds raised.
Action Steps:
We need all families to participate! By starting to collect funds now, we should be able to reduce the need for multiple fundraisers during our students’ senior year. We will still have the traditional fundraisers such as Powder Puff, Bingo, trash bags, and possibly the mouse races. The “2027PiperPG” committee has developed multiple payment options to reach our goal of at least $25,000. Below are the funding options the committee has created:
• Each family of a 2027 graduate pays $37.50 per student each year (if start paying in their 9th grade year). Commit to at least one adult volunteer at 1-3 2027 PG events prior to PG Night.
• Each family of a 2027 graduate pays $150 upfront per student. Commit to at least one adult volunteer at 1-3 2027 PG events prior to PG Night.
• Each family of a 2027 graduate pays $300 upfront per student. Absolutely NO COMMITMENT for an adult to any volunteer events prior to PG Night.
• All 2027 graduates will volunteer at activities to earn rewards to use the night of PG.
